Assessment

The key to success is formative assessment, by the time you get to the final video production you know all groups will be successful.

• Research sheet for each student—check for accuracy and completion; remediate as needed.
• Evaluate participation in scenario and script development through observation.
• Formative assessment during script development. Does the script show understanding of topic as indicated by SCoS? Refocus groups as needed.
• Final written assessment:
  • What did you learn from your group’s video?
  • What did you learn by watching another group’s video?
  • What was your favorite part of the project?
